California is kicking off the implementation phase of its Strategic Highway Safety Plan via six regional safety summits. Three summits were held in Fresno, Los Angeles and San Diego in late February. There are three upcoming April sessions:

The Community Pedestrian Safety Training (CPST) program is a partnership between UC Berkeley SafeTREC and California Walks. Since 2009, a total of 36 CPST workshops have been implemented in 35 communities.
